Robin comes from a family of educators and believes that every child has the right to a quality education. That’s why she feels strongly about solving the serious challenges facing teachers and students in Missouri’s schools. Robin’s commonsense ideas for putting students and teachers first have earned her the support from educators throughout Missouri who are standing with her as a part of “Educators for Robin.”
Robin knows that a good education system is about more than fulfilling the American dream, it is critical to ensuring that the United States remains competitive in the global economy and our leadership throughout the world. Because Robin understands the importance and value to a world class education, she has received endorsements from the National Education Association, American Federation of Teachers, Missouri National Education Association and the Missouri American Federation of Teachers.

“As a teacher, I support Robin because I know when times are tough children in Missouri will not be forced to carry the financial burden of our state and nation. Robin knows that cutting resources for our children should never come before other alternatives, and I know that as a U.S. Senator Robin will look out for our state’s children and their best interests.”

“As a Missouri teacher for over 35 years, I support Robin Carnahan because of her ongoing commitment for education. Robin understands that in order to move forward in the 21st century we must instill critical thinking strategies in all of our children.”

“As a public school teacher in Missouri for 21 years and as an employee of Missouri National Education Association for 21 years (15 years as the Executive Director), I have known and worked with Robin Carnahan and her family for many of those years. Robin understands and cares about children and public education, and she knows what needs to be done for Missouri. I thank her for her concern and previous work, and I urge Missouri voters to give her the opportunity to be our advocate in Washington, D.C. as our next U.S. Senator. Our children need Robin Carnahan.”
Jacqueline T. St. Louis County
“I support Robin because she has made herself accessible to teachers. She came to the NEA meeting and has met with teachers firsthand. She seems very knowledgeable about the needs of teachers. ”

“As a history educator, the work that the Secretary of State's office has accomplished with the Missouri Digital History website has provided all Missourians a great view of our ancestors' contribution to this great state. This is truly a lasting legacy.”
Donna C. Clay County
